What They Are about
Wayside Cider made its home in two lovingly restored barns tucked behind Main Street in picturesque Andes, NY. Not only can visitors drink and take out bottles of our cider, but you’ll want to stay for the farm to table food, inspired by the comfort foods enjoyed around the farmhouse table. They use ingredients farmed and foraged from the hills around them whenever possible, and you can wash it down with your favorite cider, beer or wine.
The Tap Room at Wayside Cider was designed by Sean Scherer, taking inspiration from cider taverns of old, but infusing a Catskill vernacular. The creative dining experience and caliber of our ciders have garnered notice and rave reviews from Harper’s Bazaar, TimeOut NY, New York Magazine and others. Come by and add your name to the list!
Located at 55 Redden Lane, Andes, NY, we’re open Thursdays through Sundays and please check out the website for hours of operation. You may also sign our mailing list for special events and guest chef dinners.
Our Notes
There are multiple areas for seating and mingling, all bringing you a unique vibe, whether you're outside at a cool reclaimed wooden table, inside at the modern rustic bar, or upstairs in the furnished loft space.
The food is awesome. Get one of the charcuterie boards which are all great. The salads are also great - fresh and flavorful.
It gets nice and lively on a nice day or warm evening. They have a good amount of live music and DJs etc during holiday weekends.
The beer garden has a big fire pit and space for bocce as well.
They have beer on draft and cocktails if cider isn't your pick.
