Opened ten years ago in the village of Rhinebeck, Le Petite Bistro is a French restaurant that celebrates the European traditions of market to table dining, in-house butchering, foraged and local produce and fresh off the dock seafood that is impeccably prepared and served.
Known for their fresh seafood, patrons of Le Petite Bistro can enjoy seating at the bar in full view of the oyster shucking station, a favorite dish, or in the restaurant that is filled with
warmth and ambiance.
There are daily specials as well as the regular menu that includes dishes like Roast Duck, Rack of Lamb, Pork Schnitzel, Veal Francaise, Hangar Steak, and even the Bistro Burger for those seeking more casual fare. The Brunch menu is equally unique featuring dishes like Waffles with foie gras butter, prunes and sausage in maple syrup; Potato-crusted Quiche; Crepes with Nutella and banana; and Croque Monsieur to name a few. There are also many tasty egg dishes, oysters and smoked salmon with pastries and bread.
The service here is exceptional – courteous and professional, which is part of what keeps people returning again and again for weeknight and weekend dinners and special occasions. They also offer off-site catering.
Le Petite Bistro is open for dinner every day except Tuesdays, and for Sunday Brunch. It is located at 8 East Market Street in Rhinebeck, NY.
