What They Are about
The Altamont Manor, a gracious 1894 restored Victorian manor, offers the perfect setting for your wedding. A private, secluded location with formal gardens, spacious landscaped surroundings, and a spacious dining room with floor to ceiling windows providing beautiful views, all make for an enchanted wedding.
Over our many years here, we've restored both the building and it's surroundings. From rebuilding the hundred foot long wrap-around porch, reclaiming long abandoned gardens and planting new ones, we've created a private secluded setting available to share with you all of life's celebrations.
Our Notes
In the tradition of classic verandas, the Altamont Manor’s veranda is almost 100 feet long, with a gleaming mahogany ceiling and gracefully tapered columns. The veranda offers a respite from the sun and shelter from the rain. The veranda also serves as a perfect location for cocktails and hor’s doeuvres. For smaller parties, the veranda can be used as a location for the ceremony in case of rain, while still having a beautiful view of the grounds and gardens.
