What They Are about

Belleayre Mountain is located off of State Route 28 in Highmount, NY, just hours from New York City, and attracts more than 175,000 skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. Not surprisingly, it has been voted by Skiing Magazine as #1 in NY for best snow and grooming and by Ski East Magazine as the #1 Classic Resort in the East. It boasts 50 trails, 8 lifts including a high-speed quad, two progression parks, several mogul trails ranging from intermediate to expert bumps, extensive glade skiing, and an isolated beginner area – all of which are exceptionally well maintained.

There’s something for everyone on the property’s 171 acres and not just in winter. During the summer months, the snowmaking pond at Pine Hill Lake is transformed into the Belleayre Beach that offers exciting activities for the whole family like swimming, picnicking, horseshoe pits, volleyball, basketball, boating, and much more.

Not just for day trips, the Mountain is surrounded by terrific, family-friendly accommodations like unique hotels, charming B&Bs. The area also boasts fantastic restaurants and shopping to round out your stay.

It's a different kind of hill, with a different kind of chill.
If you are looking for a manufactured village, an upscale bar, or anything to do other than ski you will not love Belleayre!
The slopes are long and very scenic.
If you're just starting out on the snow, the Belle offers a large segregated beginners area with its own base lodge.
The best part is the addition of the Gondola which keeps you warm as it flies to the top.
In the summer you can go mountain biking or swimming or just chill at Belleayre Beach!
