Black-Eyed Suzie's Upstate

What They Are about

Black Eyed Suzies comes from culinary masters Cherly Paff, a Hudson Valley native, and Juan Tzitzimittila. Serving an eclectic range of seasonal fare, home-made drinks, crafted cocktails, and wines. Check out their new outdoor patio.

Originally opened in the East Village in NYC, the owners have revived the name at their new cafe location in Saugherties, New York, where they also cater parties.

Additionally, they operate a traveling food stand with an ever-changing local, seasonal menu all over the Hudson Valley. When they aren't cooking up goodness, Juan enjoys cycling everywhere from the Catskills to the Hamptons and Cheryl still loves managing the Rhinebeck Farmers' Market—consistently voted the Best Farmers' Market in the Hudson Valley—and traveling and listening to loud music.
