Casa Hudson

What They Are about

Who would expect to find an Italian Renaissance villa in Haverstraw, NY? Yes. Casa Hudson is a true penzione, lovingly and meticulously designed by owners Andrea Caccuro and Nelson Diaz. What was once an 1850s brickyard owner’s home has transformed into a stunning and modern interpretation of the bed and breakfast, located an hour north of Manhattan.

With spectacular views of the Hudson River, the home features three bedrooms, each with a combination lock, private bath, free wifi, no TV and original artwork. Some of the original details remain, like the massive front door, the staircase and herringbone-patterned wood floors with inlaid details, as well as exposed brick, all of which adds to the historic char.

In addition to renting individual rooms, you may also rent the entire villa for weddings, retreats, getaways or other special events. Casa Hudson also hosts some of the most interesting events in the Hudson Valley, like “Chef’s Table,” Italian-style tomato canning and pasta making classes, and whiskey scotch tastings.

You can relax here, stroll the picturesque walking village, enjoy the fabulous restaurants or sit quietly viewing the majestic Hudson River from the porch.
