Elk Ravine Farm, named for the Rocky Mountain elk that it initially housed, was founded in 1995 by Jim Archer. The farm has evolved through the years to meet changing needs and is currently recognized for its herd of Scottish Highland cattle and its driving horses, as well as a number of other animals.

Today, Elk Ravine Farm continues to be run independently by Jim and his family, specializing in personalized farm/scottish highland cattle tours and carriage rides.
