Named after Frances Reese who spent her life fighting to protect the land in the Hudson Valley, Franny Reese State Park, is as precious to us as the Hudson Valley was to Franny. The park consists of a leisurely  2.5-mile hiking trail along old carriage roads on 251 acres. Explore the ruins of the 19th century Cedar Glen estate and the overlook views of the Hudson River, Mid-Hudson Bridge, Walk Way Over The Hudson, and the City of Poughkeepsie.

The trail also connects to the Walk Way and the Mid-Hudson Bridges so it would be easy to make this easy stroll into a day-long adventure. Dog and family friendly with plenty of places to visit and explore, on both sides of the river. Come enjoy Frannys' Hudson Valley!
