Hudson Valley Brewery

What They Are about

Standing out from others in the crowded craft brewing scene in the mid-Hudson region is the Hudson Valley Brewery, which offers Sour and Double IPAs, Pilsners, and a Sour Ale on tap, cask, bottles, and cans. Crafted from an interesting array of influences – from rural and urban, to traditional and modern, to rustic and industrial – the beers are as diverse and ever-evolving as the region itself.

Hudson Valley Brewery’s brewing techniques are inspired by the practices of traditional European breweries as well as the more aggressive, experimental practices of those in America. A pioneer in sour India pale ales with a variety of exciting blends, the brewery also offers a sampling of favorite pilsners and sour ale on tap, cask, bottles, and cans. In addition to the beers, the Brewery will be offering a changing menu of pop-up kitchens each weekend like Momo Valley Dumplings, Gyro Uno, and Mexican Kitchen Taco Pop Up. Check the website for the pop-up calendar.

Hudson Valley Brewery beckons those from throughout the region, as well as Manhattanites and Brooklynites looking for a quick day trip to the country. It’s located at 7 East Main St. in the heart of Beacon, NY and easy to get here. You can enjoy a spectacular scenic drive here or hop the train to Beacon where you can then take the Beacon Free Loop Shuttle right to the brewery at stop #5. It runs every half hour.
