Lilymoore Farm

What They Are about
Step onto Lilymoore Farm in Pleasant Valley, and you’ll feel it right away: this is a place built on love, not just land. Home to a joyful mix of alpacas, goats, horses, chickens, and more, Lilymoore isn’t just a farm—it’s a sanctuary, a storybook come to life, and a little pocket of peace in the Hudson Valley.
Every animal here is cherished, cared for, and guaranteed a forever home—no exceptions. Guests are invited to connect with these gentle souls on guided farm tours and alpaca treks, where you can stroll through meadows alongside a fuzzy friend (weather permitting, of course—tours and treks are paused during snow storms and heavy rain). It's not just about seeing the animals—it's about meeting them, hearing their stories, and learning what makes this farm so special.
Lilymoore is also home to Dreaming of a Chance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pigeon sanctuary right on the property, where rescued birds find healing, safety, and a second chance. It’s just one more way the farm leads with kindness and care.
Looking for something extra magical? Check out the farm’s seasonal and holiday-themed events with alpacas in festive gear. These family-friendly happenings offer unforgettable memories (and yes, plenty of photo ops).
Come for the alpacas. Stay for the mission. Leave with a full heart—and maybe a few hay-flecked selfies.
