On The Lake @Copake

What They Are about
On the Lake @Copake is built around one thing above all else, the water. Step outside and you’re standing at your own private dock and swim platform, the lake stretching quietly in front of you. Paddleboards and kayaks become the preferred vehicles here, gliding across the calm surface while the shoreline slowly wakes up around you. Sunrise tends to stop people mid coffee.
Inside, the house opens into a bright, social floor plan designed for groups to actually spend time together. Large lounging areas flow naturally between the kitchen, dining space, and living room, creating an easy rhythm for long weekends. The fully stocked kitchen is set up to cook real meals for a full house, whether that’s a big breakfast before hiking or dinner for twelve out on the deck.
Sleeping arrangements are generous and thoughtfully arranged. Two king bedrooms anchor the house while a bunk room, loft sofa bed, and Murphy bed in the TV room allow the house to comfortably host up to twelve guests. Beds and bedding consistently stand out, the kind that make people ask where they came from before they leave.
Location is another quiet advantage, if you even WANT to leave. Copake sits right at the intersection of the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, making it an easy jumping off point for farmers markets, hiking trails, and small town exploring. Bash Bish Falls, Taconic State Park, Catamount Mountain Resort, and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail are all within reach, while the food scenes of Hudson and Great Barrington are each about a half hour away.
