An original Summer Kitchen circa 1840, the Owl’s Nest Cabin has been lovingly restored into a private one bedroom, one bathroom cabin that features rustic accents like a claw foot tub, vintage kitchen, wood and brick walls, and vintage furniture and antiques but has all modern amenities for complete comfort.

Located in Coxsackie, NY near the popular cities of Hudson and Catskill, The Owls Nest has a rich history as it is one of the few remaining structures that were originally known as “summer kitchens.” The 10-acre property includes the original saltbox style farmhouse and other barns have been restored and are used for weddings seasonally. A clawfoot tub in the bathroom, cotton linen sheets and towels, and light fare stocked in the vintage fridge for your arrival, ensure a great start to your experience.

Bring a book and read by the Vermont Castings fireplace, bring your iPad and enjoy wifi, bring your hiking boots and go for a walk on our beautiful grounds and trails along the creek. You can enjoy morning coffee outside on the beautiful bluestone patio and in the garden or enjoy a glass of wine here at days end.
