Owner Dave Gardell started from the ground up at The Ruck, working the door on the first day it opened in January 1998. After working through the ranks of the business, Dave purchased the bar in 2004, and has evolved The Ruck into the craft beer powerhouse it is today.

   “My wish is to provide a space that would be an alternative to the everyday sports pub and its offerings. We strive to deliver an elevated beer experience paired with carefully thought-out comfort foods. We call ourselves craft beer butlers, our pleasure is introducing good people to craft beer and all its splendor. We offer a beer for every wallet and a stylistically savvy lineup with 32 draught beers. Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable and thirsty to share some of their favorite beer and food pairings with you.”

   We have a Cicerone trained staff that curates delicious food with an always rotating draught beer selection, while offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family. At The Ruck, we strive to be your local home away from home.
