What They Are about
Set in a bucolic rural valley in the northwestern Catskill Mountains of New York State, The West Kortright Centre is a nonprofit organization dedicated to excellence in arts programming, featuring a diverse blend of world-class concerts, workshops, art exhibits, and community events.
Now a historic landmark, our elegantly renovated 1850s church provides a unique, intimate and acoustically excellent space to absorb the finest cultural programming, as well as offering a showcase for local young people, and variety of workshops for all ages.
Our Notes
Each year, the West Kortright Centre mounts an ambitious season of performances, creative workshops, and popular community events, thanks in no small part to the extraordinary power of our generous and dedicated volunteers.
Community members keep our organization vibrant and growing. From ushering at performances to assisting with fundraising drives and marketing blitzes to repairing and improving our beautiful facilities—we need people with enthusiasm and skills in all areas.
