4 acres and more than 800 grape vines later, we grow our Marquette grapes, Cayuga, Arandell, and Aramella grapes organically. We harvest wild sumac for our sumac spritzer, use local farms in our menus, and try to embrace the uniqueness of the seasons and their offerings!

Our family has been in Rock Valley for five generations and now are restoring and converting our 1860's barn into a Farm Distillery specializing in hand crafted spirits using traditional methods. All of our spirits are made from locally sourced ingredients. There is an old red barn set against a backdrop of bluestone where we make small batch hand crafted spirits from locally sourced ingredients. Like many of our neighbors and relatives "on the hill", we do most things the old fashioned way, homegrown, made from scratch. It might not be the easiest way to do things, but then, the joy is in the work.

Tousey Winery is a absolute passion project for couple, Ben and Kimberly whom grew up in England, though both born in the Hudson Valley, they spent twenty years in Denmark. Kimberly’s father Ben Tousey, a honey farmer in Hudson Valley, created Tousey Winery to sell his “Crème de Cassis”, and when the young couple came for a visit they saw the opportunity to create something of their own.
Before Prohibition more than 1,000 farm distillers produced alcohol from New York grains and fruits. In 2005 Tuthilltown Spirits brought the tradition of small batch spirits production back to the Hudson Valley. Tuthilltown Spirits distills Indigenous Vodka from apples grown at orchards less than five miles away and the highly awarded Hudson Whiskey line, using grain harvested by farmers less than ten miles away.
