Buckle up, Hudson Valley! The eagerly awaited Mayfest Farmers and Makers Market is back and better than ever, extending to three incredible days this Memorial Day Weekend. From May 25-27, prepare to indulge in a feast for the senses at Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park, where over 190 vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities await. This is not just an event—it’s an experience you won't want to miss!

A Shopping Extravaganza

Imagine strolling through the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and the west approach of the Walkway, surrounded by a curated selection of the region's finest products. With over 190 vendors, Mayfest showcases the best of the Hudson Valley’s farms, distilleries, breweries, wineries, restaurants, artists, and artisans. Whether you're hunting for unique crafts, gourmet delights, or stunning artworks, this market has something to tempt every taste and style.


Three Days of Fun and Flavor

This year, Mayfest runs from Saturday, May 25 to Monday, May 27, with varied hours to fit everyone's schedule. On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy the festivities from 12-5 p.m., and on Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For just $5 per day, you gain access to all vendors, live performances, and delightful samples from more than 30 local purveyors of wine, beer, and spirits.

Kids under 12 get in free and are sure to have a blast with hands-on art and music activities, meeting their favorite superheroes or princesses, and more. The festival ensures that even the youngest visitors have a day full of joy and discovery.

Pet-Friendly Fun

Don’t leave your furry friends at home! Well-behaved pets on non-retractable leashes are welcome. Explore an expanded pet section with vendors offering treats, scarves, and clothing just for dogs.

Live Music and Performances

As you browse, let the rhythm move you with a full schedule of live music and specialty performances. From local bands to unique art installations, there's entertainment at every turn. Dance, sing along, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere that makes Mayfest a standout event each year.


Sip and Sample the Best of the Valley

For those 21 and over, Mayfest is a paradise of local libations. Sample from over 30 of the region’s top producers, including 1857 Spirits, Catskill Moonshine Co., City Winery Hudson Valley, Black Button Distillery, Brooklyn Cider, Mill House Brewing Company, and more. If a taste isn’t enough, visit City Winery’s vintage pouring truck or Catskill Tap & Ladder’s ale house on wheels for a full pour or a unique cocktail.


Culinary Delights for Every Palate

Foodies, rejoice! Mayfest is a gastronomic adventure featuring some of the Hudson Valley’s best food trucks and culinary offerings. From Professor Mark Elia’s famous barbecue to vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, there’s something for everyone. Indulge in fair favorites like Lemon Love lemonade, Nancy’s Artisanal Ice Cream, funnel cakes, doughnuts, and international cuisines from Mexican to Filipino flavors.


Supporting Veterans and Community

Mayfest proudly honors the Hudson Valley’s veterans, featuring veteran-owned businesses like Do Good Spirits and Soldier Solutions. Learn about local veteran support services and join the community for a touching Memorial Day Sunset Flag Changing Ceremony on Sunday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Parking is free but limited along Haviland Road and in the Town of Lloyd lot. Additional parking is available at Napa Auto Care Center, Ulster County Park and Ride, and Poughkeepsie Train Station, with a shuttle running continuously from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for your convenience.
